We are excited to announce that our research team has published a paper titled “Field-programmable robotic folding sheet” in Nature Communications. The study introduces a novel robotic sheet that can be programmed to fold into diverse shapes after deployment, enabled by an electro-thermo-responsive design with embedded sensing and control. This breakthrough paves the way for adaptive robots capable of grasping, locomotion, and multifunctional tasks across a wide range of applications.
