We are pleased to share that a review article titled “Using biopotential and bio-impedance for intuitive human–robot interaction” has been published in Nature Reviews Electrical Engineering, with Professor Jung Kim as the corresponding author. The article was written by Dr. Kyunseo Park and Dr. Hwayeong Jeong, both graduates of our laboratory. It explores how bio-signals such as electromyography and electrical impedance can enable intuitive human–robot interfaces by capturing physiological activity and motion intention in real time. The review also discusses advances in integrated circuit design that make these systems practical, as well as the potential of hybrid multimodal sensing for robust and scalable interaction.
